Call for Presenters

Applications are due by May 31, 2020.

We have been working diligently to navigate the COVID-19 crisis and identify ways to best serve the community. Our annual Northern Arizona Symposium is scheduled for Saturday, November 7th. However, the health and safety of participants continues to be our top priority and we will continue to monitor the evolving situation to determine whether the conference will be in-person or virtual.

We are proceeding with our call for presenters. We are seeking engaging and innovative presenters for our 5th Annual Northern Arizona Early Childhood Symposium. We look to host 400 early childhood professionals for a day of learning. Should the event be held in person, the venue is the High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. Should the event be held virtually, ASCC will provide the platform and instructions needed for presenting and connecting with each session.

We are seeking submissions for the following content areas as well as any additional topics that would benefit early childhood professionals:

Advocacy | Assessment & Observation | Behavior | Child Activities | Communication | Cultural Awareness | Family Engagement | Learning through Play | Literacy | Mindfulness & Self-care | Program Leadership | Social/Emotional | Special Needs | STEAM

Sessions will be 90 minutes long, several sessions will run concurrently, and each session may accommodate 20-80 participants.

For in person conference, a projector, screen, and microphone will be set up for use in each room.  Presenters are asked to bring a laptop and backup flash drive for their presentation.  WiFi will be available for presenters.
