Sharon Randall Raban is a wife, mother of six and grandmother of 12. She has a BA degree in Elementary Education K-8, Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Preschool Special Education, and a Masters Degree in Education Administration. She began her teaching career in 1982 in the elementary classroom, followed by 15 years as a preschool Teacher and Director of a reverse mainstream preschool program in the public school system. She then taught special-education K-3rd grade for five years. The last seven her role has been as the Special Education Director for the St. John’s Unified School District. She has worked part time as an educational trainer for preschools and child care staff since 2004. She currently works as a statewide trainer for the Association for Supportive Child Care. She loves the opportunity this give her to support the adults who dedicate their expertise and lives to the young children of Arizona.
